I’m Lucy, Founder and Lead of The Support Psychologist and an HCPC-registered Sport and Exercise Psychologist. Having worked across elite, professional and international sport, I’ve seen first-hand that great psychological support starts with understanding the person behind the performance.
I founded TSP to create a consultancy that puts people first - offering high-quality, individualised support that recognises that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to psychology. Whether I’m working with a client directly or supporting our growing team of practitioners, I’m passionate about making psychological support feel human, approachable and genuinely useful.

How I Support
For me, the relationship is at the heart of psychological support. I want you to feel comfortable, understood and able to be yourself, creating a space where you can speak openly without judgement. I take the time to understand you, your experiences and what matters to you, rather than making assumptions about what you need.
I work in an integrative and person-centred way, drawing on different psychological approaches and adapting how I work based on the individual in front of me. Together, we’ll explore what you want to change or develop and find an approach that feels right for you.
My aim is for our work together to feel human, practical and meaningful - supporting you not just to perform at your best, but to feel your best too.
